Visual Eye Media helps Macy's make live stream history PDF Print E-mail
Visual Eye Media made some history of its own with Macy's on Sunday July 18, 2010, when it successfully produced its first live stream in Atlanta, Ga.

VEM helped Macys.com live stream a cooking demonstration with celebrity chef Tyler Florence which was part of Macy's Culinary Council series.

"Other than a few minor technical issues, the live stream went off without a hitch," said Visual Eye Media's Sr. Producer Amani Channel.  "It was truly a team effort.  The Macys.com team did a great job making sure we had all of our bases covered during this event."

This was also a first for Macy's, which had never live streamed a Culinary Council demonstration directly to its Website.

The production was coordinated through the social marketing company Everywhere.  The Project Manager of the live stream Erica Hartfield said, "Thank you so much Amani for executing the live stream for us on the Macy's website. They were more than pleased."
