A PATHWAY TO SUCCESS PDF Print E-mail
Cobb Housing Inc. selected Visual Eye Media to produce a promotional/marketing video for Metro Atlanta YouthBuild.

YouthBuild provides job training and leadership skills to high school drop outs.

Metro Atlanta YouthBuild is one of seven chapters that recently received a grant from the
Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation. The grant is designed to help high school drop outs pursue and complete postsecondary education.

The seven minute, High Definition video featured three students who shared in their own words why they left school early, and what led them back to the classroom.

Sr. Producer Amani Channel not only wrote and produced the video, he also taught a digital media class for Metro Atlanta YouthBuild at Kennesaw State University.

"It was an honor to not only instruct the students, and the perspective I gained from being in the classroom helped me craft the production," said Channel.

VEM is also producing a similar video for Metro Atlanta YouthBuild's parent organization
YouthBuild USA. That project should be completed by the end of October.
